Pre-Africa Craziness

I've had so many projects this week trying to get stuff finished before I leave on Sunday.

SO! I finished making a different screen graphic for every pastor we have, which was 16... Here's an example!

I was also assigned to make the tickets for the big creative arts conference that's coming up this fall.

I also finished that DVD project, andddd I picked up the t-shirts for the Ethiopia trip that I DESIGNED!

DVD Cover

I designed the dvd cover!

It's plain and simple, but I modeled it off the NLC website.

July fourth!

Today is a doozy

Today I have to finish the stick figures, finish the independence day graphic, and I have to go to both campuses and fix all the logos on all the paperwork.

At New Life, when you visit, you receive a free visitor bag. It usually has a super cool travel mug, and some other stuff, including a DVD of one of our sermons. They've used the same sermon for a really long time, and now they want to change it. I'm in charge of getting the dvd made, and designing the graphics for the front of the disc. I have to have it sent to discmakers by the end of this week.

Also, I made coffee this morning at the offices, and it was horrible. I feel bad. The end.

p.s. I leave for ethiopia on sunday.

Independence Day Graphic

I've been assigned to do the independence day graphic for the church.

I'll let you know how it goes. I want to do a hand drawn font I think.

As per the stick people assignment. In the fall, New Life Church is doing a family series entitled "Ordinary People." He wanted me to find some stock stick people to make the videos out of and everything, but instead... I drew a bunch. He loves them! I win. Here's the mom. I still have to work with them a bit, and make the lines a little cleaner. He wants the characters to be a little less crazy, too.

Projects projects projects

Now I have 4,000 projects to do.

#1) Independence Day Graphic - Make a graphic for the slide announcements. Due June 10th.

#2) Find stick people for Neil for Ordinary People series (family series).

#3) Bible Heroes Series: (need title and concept) Prefer a specific character

#4) Gather sketched fonts, graphic styles for woman (fall women's event).

#5) Research gift ideas: oval or round clay necklace. Find feminine string for the more girly women. Maybe make a sample. Estimate the cost. We need 1500-1750 gifts.

#6) Get corrected NLC logo from Pam and have it updated on basecamp, google, NLC website, print in Welcome Centers, etc.

#7) Design an ad for Inviting Arkansas Magazine

So far, I have completed number 5, and number 6. I think most of this is due monday... shooot.

T-Shirt!

I got assigned to design the t-shirt for the Ethiopia trip! YAY! I was given about 3 days to do it, so I started it, and I left my hard drive plugged in in computer in my living room. However, my computer is plugged in, so it wasn't a problem. UNTIL, my roommates came home, and they cleaned. They unplugged my computer, which left my hard drive on to feel free to drain my computer battery. I came back to a dead computer, and all of my files were lost! When will I learn to save as I go?! Anyway, I came home from work on a Saturday evening at 1 a.m., and had to redo the whole thing before Sunday- it being sunday, here is the shirt. :) Thankfully, the team likes the shirt, and I'm not in trouble.

I like doing t-shirts. Today, I'm finishing the slide announcements for the Maumelle and Heber Springs campuses. It will probably take me the better part of the day.

*edit*

Finished the slides!! I am awesome, but now I have even more projects. Ha!
